Details:
The new stadium boasts of a 60,000-seat capacity, a total height of 46m, which would fit under the new Wembley Arch 3 times.
An ellipical bowl was the chosen form for the stadium, with seats situated all the way around, together with the most impressive roof structure that spans 26,000m2, with a "Billowing" or saddled-shaped inner edge, which derived from the elliptical plan.
The main roof structure consists of two primary trusses spanning 204m north-south between the 11m high tripod supports at each end, and 32 tertiary trusses spanning between the primaries and secondaries and a 660m perimeter truss.
