The Álava Technological Park aimed at creating a building for sharing offices which was completely integrated in its environment, following a similar architectural design to the other buildings close to it.
In this work, the contribution of the steel structure is very important, since using Structural Hollow Sections as columns allows architects to have a wide interior space in each floor due to their small cross-sections.
The columns were fabricated in the workshop and carried to the work-site with part of the beams welded to them, in order to simplify the work in-site. In this way, the assembly of the steel structure was extremely safe and fast.
