A spectacular sculpture displaying the proudest
moments in Honda’s motor sport history, celebrating six world-famous
Honda-powered Grand Prix cars, which are fixed to the base of each arm in order
of their year of success. The secret of
this structure is that the cars actually move up and down creating a “mobile”
effect to entertain the visitors. The 50
metre high, 40 metre wide work of art features 55 metre long “swinging arms”
made of Oval Hollow Sections (OHS), each balanced on a 45 metre long CHS steel
arch supported by a massive underground base.
