Details:
The Liebherr plant was founded 1969 in Ehingen and since 1980 has dedicated its production to mobile cranes. Its product range includes all-terrain mobile cranes, lattice boom cranes with mobile and crawler chassis, mobile construction cranes and special purpose cranes for rescue missions. To handle special lifting tasks, Liebherr also manufactures a lattice boom mobile crane with an eight-axle chassis as well as a graduated range of lattice boom cranes on crawler chassis as special equipment. The larger systems offer lifting capacities of up to 1,200 t, lifting heights of up to 226 m and a radius of up to 165 m.
Seamless tubes made of high yield fine-grained structural steel with yield strengths of 890 N/mm² developed by Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes enhance the high lifting capacity and coverage of crawler lattice boom cranes.
