Prix CIDECT 2008

CIDECT presents awards at each International Symposium on Tubular Structures (ISTS) for work in the field of hollow sections.

Details of the next ISTS, number 12, to be held in Shanghai, China form 8th to 10th of October 2008, are available on internet: www.ists12.org.

CIDECT will present awards in two categories:

One for a research project (Research Award) and one for a hollow section based design (Design Award).

In both categories there will be certificates for the winner and the two runners up. For the winner there will also be a trophy.

All papers have to be sent to CIDECT in electronic format. A judging panel will select up to three projects for the final voting which take place during a special session of the symposium. That means that CIDECT pays for the travelling expenses of 6 students.

Dates
Closing date for papers to CIDECT (in English language):	31. December 2007
Prejudging by CIDECT:	20. February 2008
Camera ready manuscript to ISTS secretary:	20. April 2008
Presentation on ISTS symposium:	8.-10. October 2008
